In light of the pandemic, the work of this inspiring childrens welfare charity has never been greater. Heightened public awareness around food poverty and holiday hunger has also contributed to a sizeable uplift in their profile. As a result of this they are now looking for a Head of Individual Giving and Engagement to join their Fundraising Team.
The Individual Giving and Engagement (IG&E) team is responsible for the acquisition, engagement and development of individual supporters. These supporters include those who give donations, set up their own fundraising events, participate in challenge events and community campaigns, and more. The purpose of the IG&E Team is to provide the best possible experience for individual supporters of the charity.
The role will initially be a one-year contract.
Lead, recruit, line manage and develop the IG&E team
Provide positive leadership and development for the team ensuring
Build and implement a multi-channel, creative and ambitious programme for the acquisition, retention and development of individual supporters
Oversee the delivery of tailored supporter journey plans which will see all individuals receiving personalised and compelling communications
Oversee data management and effective use of Salesforce to develop segmentation, campaign planning and clear analysis
Track record of leading and personally delivering on challenging six figure
fundraising and engagement targets and budgets
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
Significant experience of leading multi-channel marketing strategies
Proven ability to network and influence at senior levels
Excellent grasp of data and financial management,
Experience of income forecasting, reporting and strategic planning.
Experience developing and delivering effective supporter journeys
Substantial individual giving and engagement management experience
