Are you a comms professional who enjoys a varied work load? In this role for a leading homeless charity you will take responsibility for the organisation-wide communications, particularly press and media, and digital communications.
Work with the Head of Business Development/Fundraising and Communications Manager to deliver the digital communications and social media strategy.
Lead on design and management of engaging content for all channels from written content to video, photos and infographics
Manage the website regularly reviewing and creating engaging content, creating campaign pages and other tools and capabilities for campaigns.
Lead on creating engaging e-newsletters, managing mailing lists and reporting on open rates and click through rates.
Oversee delivery of social media strategy to increase engagement and following, reporting monthly against agreed KPIs.
Co-create a storytelling policy and procedure for the organisation, ensuring safeguarding is at the heart of all communications, and deliver safe working procedures when working with vulnerable people.
Lead on projects including the Annual Report, and other pieces of research or reports that inform and/or support stakeholder engagement and/or fundraising campaigns, ensuring consistency with online and printed assets and messages.
Demonstrable experience of quality and effective copywriting for a variety of platforms, including press/media, social media, website and email.
Experience of increasing supporter engagement through digital.
Demonstrable experience of using various digital platforms and emerging technologies for awareness raising and/or income generation.
Experience of developing engaging video content
Experience of creating design and infographics
Understand the relevance of different marketing routes, including various digital platforms to engage with different audiences.
Use of emerging technology, particularly around digital and ability to harness these in order to meet aims.
Creative and resourceful- has great ideas and can implement them even in the context of limited charity resources.
Ability to write engaging content, stories and messaging for a variety of stakeholders.
