Are you an experienced events project manager with an entrepreneurial attitude? Have you project managed multifaceted fundraising events?
This role is a part time fixed term contract for 1 year and the post holder will be required to work three days per week.
Until March 2022, travel between the two locations will be ad hoc/relatively infrequent (e.g. once every two weeks).
During March-June, while the trail is live, it is likely that the post holder will need to be in Cardiff on a weekly basis.
This exciting, high profile, 3-month trail will take place across Cardiff and surrounding areas between March-June 2022.
The trail will be complemented by a series of fundraising and awareness raising events, including a high value auction of the sculptures once the trail is complete.
The trail will be one of the most important activities in 2022 marketing calendar. As such we are looking for a highly experienced project manager to oversee the event series, manage key internal and external relationships, and raise as much money and awareness as possible.
The successful candidate will have excellent project management and logistical planning skills as well as an entrepreneurial attitude towards maximising the potential of the event.
They will lead and inspire the cross-departmental art trail projects team to make the most of the income potential of the trail through sponsorship, gift in kind donations, retail merchandise, community fundraising and volunteering, and media opportunities.
