This is a maternity cover for around 10 months and they are looking for someone to start asap, they are flexible on hours and will consider full or part time (min 3 days a week). They would ideally need you in the office 2 days a week. Internally they are strong on the Corporate side so the emphasis does need to be on Events and leading the Community team.
This role would suit an experienced Fundraising Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
Leading and supporting a team of 6 fundraisers to continue to rebuild the corporate, community and events programme following the pandemic
Professional, effective, efficient logistics for events
Adeptness in being able to match the interests of donors with opportunities to support the charity, particularly leading on strategic partnerships with corporate partners
Stewarding, enhancing and developing the network of relationships with community groups, corporate partners, organisations and other stakeholders
Supporting senior fundraisers to deliver a successful and compelling events programme and corporate fundraising strategy
Monitoring budgets and producing financial reports on income and expenditure as required by the Joint Fundraising Directors
Minimum of 5 years relevant fundraising experience in mass participation events, community fundraising and/or corporate fundraising (at least 2 out of the 3).
At least 2yrs experience in a leadership role / team management of multiple line reports
Proven track record of managing income budget of circa 1million per annum
Proven relationship management skills as an innovative, effective, ambitious leader
Confident, experienced and successful networker
Experienced in working alongside volunteers
