We are working with a national health charity to recruit an Innovation Manager, this is a key strategic role within the Fundraising Directorate. You will be experienced in the principles of fundraising, data analysis, and audience development. You will lead on product development cycles, taking briefs through to pilot stage and upon success, transitioning new income generating initiatives into business as usual.
The role will be hybrid working with a mixture of home based and regular attendance at the London office.
Responsible for delivery of the innovation strategy which formalises the new product development and opportunity identification activity with the long-term goal of ensuring growth in income, participant numbers, new audience acquisition, and a continuously improving supporter experience.
Deliver activity on the innovation pipeline, using robust insight, analysis and audience-focused testing
Responsible for gathering high-quality, actionable insights
Lead project teams, working with colleagues across the organisation to deliver new product tests and pilots, and on hitting success, collaborate with teams on transition into business as usual.
Development of robust commercial cases for new product development.
Responsible for identifying opportunities for trialling new technologies to support wider departmental fundraising objectives
Champion the benefits of test-and-learn trial, analysis and optimisation, and help embed this into the fabric of fundraising at the charity
Significant experience working at a senior level within fundraising (or other income generating/product development function within a commercial organisation) working on strategy and product development
Experience analysing data and generating actionable insight
Strong understanding of, and ability to use, innovation and new product development techniques
Creative, innovative and strategic analysis skills
