The Deputy Head of Corporate Development is responsible for delivering the growth in income from new
partnerships with businesses
Under the direction of the Head of Corporate, the post holder will lead the corporate new business teams to achieve their fundraising targets and build transformational strategic partnerships with businesses in the UK and internationally
Lead and oversee the new business team, which in 2022, will be made up of 12 fundraisers.
Lead the development of new cases for support for strategic partnerships, in line with the focus areas
Develop a small personal pipeline of top-tier 6-7 figure strategic partnership opportunities.
Negotiate new partnerships to deliver a personal new business target
You will have a proven track record of running a successful charity new business team and working creatively with businesses to secure transformational 6-7 figure strategic partnerships
Experience of leading a team to deliver excellent work and supporting their professional development in a new business environment
Demonstrable experience of writing successful, inspiring, emotive and technically accurate proposals and pitches, tailored to a corporate audience.
