We are recruiting for a Fundraising Compliance Manager to work within the Fundraising Change & Standards team for a well known health charity, to enable people, teams and the organisation to work in a more efficient, effective and compliant way. To identify and deliver opportunities to work in a faster, easier and better way so that more of the organisations time, effort and money benefits the people and families the charity serves. The team provides expertise and an advisory service to fundraising for business process improvement and design, project management, and risk and compliance.

London Office (Hybrid), or Remote (with travel to London office for specific meetings)

The Role
Proactively engage in understanding the work of Fundraising, demonstrating the ability to provide relevant, good quality compliance and regulatory advice during the design and delivery of products and fundraising activity.
Work across Fundraising to make sure the products and activities are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements, and that the relevant advice and guidance is provided to enable the team to work in a compliant way.
Work with the Senior Risk & Compliance manager to design, develop and deliver a fundraising compliance framework that will build capability across the directorate and recommend practices that will enable a compliance culture.
Respond to compliance and data protection queries relating to fundraising and marketing compliance, providing recommendations and risk-assessed solutions to issues, incidents or approaches.
Promote and embed a compliance culture across the Directorate, promoting good practice and presenting guidance that will improve and enhance the quality of fundraising activity in terms of compliance and mitigation of risk.
Assist with the rectification of any potential major incidents of non-compliance, adapt business activities to reflect any regulatory changes, and advice business changes, as necessary to achieve compliance.

Essential skills
Compliance practices and experience including knowledge of but not limited to, the Fundraising Regulator, Charity
Commission, Gambling Commission, Advertising Standards Authority and Data Protection
Risk management approach and systems
Problem-solving tools and techniques.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects with conflicting deadlines.
