We are working with an inspiring social welfare charity to recruit a brand new role, income from trusts, foundations, companies and some statutory income has grown significantly over the past three years and this role has been created to expand the pipeline, raise restricted and unrestricted income from funders not already giving, and build relations with existing funders.
This is a part time role either 21 or 28 hours and a 2 year contract. The charity offer great flexy work options, London/Hybrid/Home based.
Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop annual grants fundraising plans and grants fundraising strategy.
Work collaboratively across the charity to identify new funding opportunities, projects and proposals.
Write funding bids ensuring they are targeted, SMART and meet the criteria of the funders.
Develop and manage a clear funding pipeline of trusts and foundations.
Streamline the proposal writing process, maintain a library of up to date standard information for proposals.
Build on relationships with existing donors, maximising opportunities over time to access further funding and engage new funders.
A minimum of three years experience in grants fundraising or transferrable experience
Proven ability to think strategically and creatively about fundraising potential.
Experience of securing funds by crafting persuasive written applications and nurturing relationships with key individuals and organisations.
Experience of drafting project budgets and reports to funders.
Proven ability of excellent writing and presentation skills, including preparation of fundraising materials, donor reports, etc
