We are recruiting for a Recruitment focused HR professional for a high profile education charity , need strong recruitment cycle experience , immediate start
To be responsible for the coordination of all vacancies (excluding Leadership) within the National Team.
To advise Hiring Managers on process, procedure, and best practice.
To support managers in drafting job descriptions and person specifications, providing templates and advice as required.
To coordinate the process of vacancy approval ensuring the correct information is obtained in a timely manner and that managers are kept well informed.
Onboarding, Contracts and New Starter Administration
To send out reference requests for all shortlisted candidates, chasing responses and passing on to the relevant hiring/recruiting manager.
On the day of interviews, to take copies of candidates qualifications, right to work and DBS check documentation, ensuring appropriate accuracy and storage.
General Administration and Support
To manage the Recruitment inbox, ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner, either by responding directly or passing to the relevant member of the Recruitment Team.
To be the first point of contact for candidates, creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all requests for recruitment packs and other general queries are responded to swiftly and professionally.
Experience in a HR of Recruitment administrative role
Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to manage conflicting demands and competing priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In particular, an excellent phone manner.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Experience of using a HR/PD system (ideally ITrent) to issue contracts.
Experience of administering a range vetting and pre-employment checks (e.g. references and DBS)
