We are recruiting a digital fundraiser with the creativity and skill to create a range of digital campaigns and content that will drive engagement with online fundraising and grow the supporter base at a leading national charity. 9 month FTC.
Last year, this national charity raised over 25m from individuals, companies, trusts, foundations and community organisations. They believe however that there is potential to do so much more and under the leadership of a new CEO and Executive Director of Income Generation, they are now developing a new strategy for doubling income from voluntary fundraising.
Reporting to the Digital Fundraising Manager, the Digital Fundraising officer will support the delivery of digital fundraising activity
Support Fundraising Team (especially Direct Marketing and Community and Events).
Working with colleagues to plan, deliver and report on paid social and PPC activity
Be the Content Lead for Fundraising for the website, responsible for creating and/or editing and updating content and working with the web team to develop new website functions
Support the Fundraising team to enable them to deliver successful email journeys for supporters
Support the charity wide campaigns working with colleagues across the organisation to deliver integrated campaigns
Liaise with colleagues across Fundraising and Marketing and External Affairs to develop and deliver on a joined-up approach to planning and executing FR communications across all channels, keeping track of digital project plans.
Alongside your line manager provide recs on new and existing Digital Fundraising suppliers and products and develop user processes and deliver training where required e.g. SMS, contactless payments, FR specific such as Just Giving and reporting
You will have a proven track record of and be able to demonstrable experience in the following
Working within a Fundraising environment
Creation and delivery of social media paid campaigns
Knowledge of digital marketing techniques such as email, search marketing and social media
Knowledge of AdWords and running PPC campaigns
Experience with CMS systems such as Drupal
Good communication skills and the ability to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
Experience of website editorial, including composing content and sourcing supporting online material
Experience of Google Analytics, AdWords and search marketing
