We are looking for an experienced events fundraiser to manage and deliver the events portfolio, including both third party and bespoke events for a leading national charity. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with experience of building engaging supporter journeys that connect supporters to the cause, maximising event registrations and income targets.

The Charity
This is a very exciting time to join one of the UKs most high profile and much-loved charitys that supports the armed forces community through welfare, comradeship and representation as well as being the nations custodian of remembrance.

Main Duties
You will manage a range of mass fundraising events including the project management, logistics, marketing and stewardship of participants in accordance with the mass events strategy and recruitment and income KPIs. As part of the running events team, candidates will be working on events such as The Virgin Money London Marathon, Great North Run and Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, as well as bespoke events.
The successful candidate will meet fundraised income targets by ensuring that supporter experience and supporter engagement is maximised with existing and new supporters at all times using a variety of channels.
You will develop a supporter journey for event participants to maximise fundraising and event experience and cross sell appropriate products to event participants.
You will work closely and build relationships with current sponsors and corporate partners whilst developing new ones.

The Candidate
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of managing high profile events and working with event organisers preferably within the charity sector
You will have strong logistical experience and be able to organise a variety of different event fundraising elements.
The successful candidate will have the ability to identify and resolve problems have experience of working with volunteers
You will need experience of developing existing and new products, seeking, securing and nurturing corporate sponsors, budget management, working to KPIs, reporting and evaluations
