An energetic, forward-thinking head of business development with a demonstrable track record of success is needed to cover maternity leave. They are looking for someone to lead a team of talented and ambitious fundraisers
The Company An exciting time to join this health charity, under the leadership of the CEO and Executive Director of Income Generation they are now developing a new strategy for doubling income from voluntary fundraising.
Work alongside the Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy to successfully implement the new business component of the Corporate Partnerships team plan
Ensure that individual and team financial targets are achieved.
Work alongside other specialists (initially the Health Sector Specialist and Policy Team) to develop a new generation of long term shared value partnerships
Work alongside other specialists (Marketing, Stroke Support, Individual Giving) to identify flagship charity of the year type partnerships
Create and deliver to the highest quality, well researched, creative and commercially driven fully budgeted proposals
Promote fundraising products to potential partners
Manage and develop Business Development Managers
Demonstrable experience of securing and building high value partnerships with companies, their employees and customers.
Experience of line managing a team
Demonstrable understanding of shared value approaches to corporate / non-profit partnerships and how these may be applied to the context in which the charity operates.
Experience of leading presentations in the new business context.
Experience of developing and submitting successful proposals and applications
Experience / understanding of corporate fundraising or similar in the commercial sector
Experience of successfully securing partnerships with a combined value of over 100,000 per annum.
