This critical role is a real opportunity for a successful fundraising specialist to lead and motivate a team to deliver results in an ambitious new phase for the charity.
The Company An exciting time to join this health charity, under the leadership of the CEO and Executive Director of Income Generation they are now developing a new strategy for doubling income from voluntary fundraising.
Develop cultivation strategies for current and prospective charitable trusts and statutory income
Consolidate and build upon the success of established programmes, currently raising c1m p.a.
Manage an established portfolio of trust relationships whilst developing new approaches with emphasis on gifts in excess of 50,000.
Cultivate relationships with charitable trusts trustees, directors and other key contacts
Build strong relationships with cross directorate colleagues
Prepare and monitor the Trusts team budget and reforecasts
Manage two Business Development Managers
Significant professional work experience including demonstrable charitable trusts and/or statutory fundraising success
A proven track record of building high value relationships with supporters
A proven track record in making the ask and meeting fundraising targets
Knowledge of trends, techniques, and best practice in the charitable trusts and ideally the statutory funding landscapes
Excellent interpersonal skills
