We are recruiting a Regional Fundraiser to join the dynamic London Regional Fundraising team. This is a very exciting time to join the charity and this post presents an ambitious fundraiser with a real opportunity to make their mark. Under the leadership of a CEO and new Executive Director of Income Generation, the charity is developing a new strategy for doubling income from voluntary fundraising.
In this exciting and varied role, you will implement a variety of fundraising initiatives from which to generate income. This will include traditional community fundraising activity (community groups, regional corporates, in memory giving), supporting fundraising events and recruiting fundraisers for third party events.
To develop a network of contacts and key supporters within the region who will support fundraising events/activities.
To work with the Community and Events manager to achieve Gross and Net income budgets for your areas of responsibility.
To work with charitys Voluntary groups, Clubs and volunteers to maximise their fundraising.
To act as an ambassador to promote fundraising for the charity. This may be by delivering presentations, arranging displays and organising information stands.
To work collaboratively with the other charity departments to ensure that fundraising opportunities are maximised within your area of responsibility.
Experience of undertaking and initiating fundraising activities and events
Experience of and competent in preparing and delivering presentations
Experience of working with community groups and regional corporate organisations
Experience of managing volunteers
Ability to work flexibly with regards to working patterns and duties
Ability to converse and communicate to a wide audience
