In this role you will liaise regularly with colleagues in the fundraising and finance teams to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of the fundraising accounts and allocation of donations, including monthly imports of gifts onto Raisers Edge where appropriate. Duties include -
Being responsible for day to day management and running of Raisers Edge (RE).
Working with the senior management team and department heads to develop and maintain the database, including version updates and process improvements.
Importing and reconciling income in a timely manner, updating staff on donations, conducting all data entry requirements including accurately recording the receipt of all gifts, issuing thank you letters and donation reminders to donors as appropriate.
Working with the fundraising and finance team to ensure systems, processes, records and financial data are synchronised.
Carrying out a monthly reconciliation exercise with finance team to agree income on RE with the finance accounting system (SAGE).
Dealing with queries from the finance team.
Experience of working within a fundraising team with the ability to work as part of a team, towards a common goal and shared values
Proven experience of database management (preferably with a full understanding of the Raisers Edge database) and working with large datasets and data analysis
An ability to work well in cross departmental teams with technical and non-technical colleagues, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Proven ability to work methodically, to manage priorities, set and maintain standards and communicate across a complex organisation and with a widerange of people
