We are recruiting a Fundraising Events Assistant for a leading music charity. You will be supporting the Charity's flagship event ,immediate start !

The Role
Work alongside the Fundraising Events Officer to deliver the event and post event reception
Act as the second point of call on internal enquires regarding the event
Be the first point of call for event bookings, via phone email and post
Using the database software ThankQ to log all booking and attendees
Assisting the Fundraising Events Officer with event logistics such as seating arrangements
Working alongside the Events & Promotions and Digital Marketing Officers to promote the event across media publications and social media platforms
Support the Communications and Fundraising Assistant on any administrative tasks, including liaising with external printers and other suppliers
Occasionally draft copy for the Communications Team for marketing collateral
Liaising with musicians and speakers; responsible to booking transportation to event etc
Ad-hoc duties at the event including, but bit limited to, guest list management, showing guests to seats and managing raffle/auctions
Helping to set and set down events
Ensure all marketing material is correctly displayed on the day
Attend and participate in internal and external regarding the event


The Candidate
Ability to work accurately and in timely manner
Understanding how to prioritise tasks given and to deliver all within agreed deadlines
Use of CRM and other IT systems to an immediate level
Working collaboratively within a team
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong and confident communicator
High attention to detail
Strong organisational and planning skills
Confident with all Microsoft Office packages
