We are looking for an experienced forward-thinking Community Fundraiser to lead on and be responsible for the creation, implementation and delivery of an ambitious third party/community fundraising strategy with this leading national charity.
the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. The charity has a new logo and brand and will launching the new website soon and they are really looking to grow and develop fundraising.
To lead on and be responsible for the creation, implementation and delivery of an ambitious third party/community fundraising strategy in order to maximise net income
To develop, innovate and grow the existing community fundraising portfolio to become a sustainable long-term source of income for the charity
Develop relationships with key supporters to maximise income including; individuals, schools, Rotary Clubs, Lions, WI, Scouts, Cubs, Brownies and Guides, places of worship and faith organisations by using a range of tools including face to face meetings, talks, presentations, networking, mailings and telephone
To project manage all community fundraising campaigns, products, activities and projects
To deliver an effective marketing and stewardship strategy ensuring that participant recruitment and retention is maximised and of the highest quality
Experience of creating, developing and managing successful community fundraising/third party budgets and strategies.
Experience of project management of marketing campaigns and fundraising products.
Proven ability of the development and delivery of ambitious income budgets (as well as managing expenditure budgets) and recruiting new community audiences.
Excellent oral and creative writing skills with a proven ability to write fundraising materials, including marketing copy and correspondence to organisations and individuals at all levels.
Experience of creating and delivering successful and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences, ideally including schools and young people, staff and community groups.
Creative and can generate new and innovative ways to fundraise, with a strong desire to succeed.
Experience of working with volunteers in a fundraising environment.
