An exceptional opportunity for an outgoing and personable individual who is looking to take their next step in philanthropy fundraising. As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager, you'll be joining a friendly and experienced team and will play a vital role in helping this well known national charity to reach ambitious targets by growing and taking ownership of your own portfolio of trusts and foundations.

The Charity:
Everything this charity does is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. This is an exciting time to join the charity as they expand and help more people than ever.

The Role:
You will be identifying, managing, growing and generating income from trusts and foundations with the potential to give between £10,000 and £100,000 per annum. Fundraising mainly restricted income, you will be providing vital funds to enable the charity to continue delivering life changing work.
Identify and research prospective donors that have potential to support the charity's work; achieved using internal networks and undertaking external research, collaborating with other team members to coordinate research and share knowledge.
Initiate and build relationships with new trusts and foundations via telephone, email, face to face meetings, events and through identifying and utilising peer to peer links.

Prepare and submit an agreed number of high-quality proposals, in line with the requirements of potential funders.
Ensure a strong donor pipeline is maintained by tracking and planning cultivation activities, applications and forecasted income.
Work closely with operational colleagues to understand the need of the charity and develop strong and viable project delivery plans to inform fundraising need and activity

The Candidate:
As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager you will be a confident, ambitious, creative and enthusiastic fundraiser at the forefront of research, relationship-building and the solicitation of gifts.

Therefore, it is vital you have experience of identifying and soliciting gifts from trusts and foundations, managing and maximising these relationships and a successful track record of meeting ambitious targets. Furthermore, you will have experience of working closely with operational colleagues to; develop and hone asks, deliver first class reporting and implement creative stewardship plans.

You will also have experience of collaborating with other fundraisers to achieve growth and demonstrate an ability to manage a budget, meet deadlines and commit to regular reports of both.
