Reporting to the Director of fundraising and Communications and working in a friendly and supportive team, the role encompasses database administration, database selection and income reconciliation and reporting.

The post-holder will have overall responsibility for maintaining the fundraising database, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date, and will be required to provide management information, undertake data cleansing and lead and assist on a variety of projects
Ensuring the charities database (Raisers Edge) is up to date and all records are GDPR compliant.
Responsible for delivering and coordinating training in Raisers Edge for all users.
Co-ordinate the analysis and coding of income data across the organisation, reconciling information between the fundraising system and bank reports/finance system.
To provide timely income reports to the finance team in an agreed format.
To be responsible for claiming Gift Aid for the organisation, administering & signing off to the Inland Revenue.
To administer gifts or related income on behalf of the charity with no allocated gift administration staff or access to Raisers Edge. To administer all gifts not arriving by post such as bank statements, CAF, Just Giving etc.
To provide the Director of Fundraising and Communications and fundraising team with monthly Raisers Edge income reports.
To manipulate the database to provide accurate management reports and statistics for the wider fundraising team and to provide research information and data on various donor groups
To support the individual giving programme by segmenting data for appeals and analysing appeal performance.
Demonstrable record of working within a fundraising environment or database team using the full functionality of the Raisers Edge database
Excellent numerical, analytical and financial ability including enhanced Excel skills
Be confident in analysing and coding income data across an organisation, reconciling information between the fundraising system and finance system
