We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, pro-active and experienced direct marketing fundraiser to join an ambitious and friendly Donor Engagement Team as a Senior Direct Marketing Officer with one the UKs most recognised and loved charities.
A leading national social welfare charity who also has international reach in 38 countries offering similar activities
Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Senior Direct Marketing Officer and will be responsible for
Project managing a busy programme of direct marketing communications across tailored supporter journeys to prospect and existing supporters using both online and offline channels
Using their knowledge and experience to test, analyse and refine communications across different product and channels
Making recommendations to enhance the direct marketing programme, in order to maximise supporter experience and lifetime value
Working effectively with external agencies, ensuring good value for money and developing excellent working relationships
Manages direct marketing integrated campaigns across online and offline channels from project initiation, through segmentation, data/media specification, creative approach, production, fulfilment to results analysis, ensuring income and expenditure targets are met.
Manages relationships with internal departments and external agencies to maximise the effectiveness of all individual communications.
Works with Supporter Care Team and fulfilment house to ensure that donors are thanked effectively for all campaigns.
Monitors activity through weekly reports and produces results analysis, campaign and end of year reviews, recommending future developments.
Works with the Database Officers and Data Manager to undertake database analysis, to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.
Ongoing management of external suppliers and marketing agencies to ensure activity takes place on schedule and within budget.
Proven success of hands on experience of direct marketing campaign management across a range of activities.
Proven project management, written and verbal communication skills.
Sound understanding of customer relationship marketing and integrated marketing communications.
Experience of budgetary control and reporting against targets.
Experience of managing suppliers and agencies.
Experience of managing digital only marketing campaigns.
Experience of reporting and analysing online and offline campaigns
Ability to critically assess concepts and copy
