In this exciting new role you will joining the friendly team and contribute, as a member of the Database Management team, and as part of the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate, to the provision of a high quality service to internal stakeholders across the charity, and to all our supporters to ensure they have a positive experience in supporting this well known cancer charity.
Is entering an exciting period of change, and growth in fundraising, marketing, campaigning and service delivery activities. This means that there are increasing requirements to access, understand and use their supporter data. They are also reviewing how they use their database, Raisers Edge, with a view to implementing a number of process and structural improvements.
Develop, manage and refine data processes to ensure the organisation have the cleanest, accurate and most reliable and up-to-date data possible, ensuring they achieve the best relationship they can with supporters and derive the greatest benefit from their support.
Ensure that supporter data from external sources is imported in an efficient manner and to agreed timelines onto the Raisers Edge.
Build queries in Raisers Edge to provide data files for external agencies and our own internal stakeholders.
Produce segmented data for mailings or other marketing projects as required and support results analysis.
Carry out organisation-wide requests to the Raisers Edge support desk.
Manage key financial tasks such as importing online fundraising data.
Ensure that all data is recorded and in compliance with GDPR.
Ensure data hygiene by preparing and running appropriate data checks on a regular basis.
Play a key role in the Gift Aid claims process.
Will already have a good level of knowledge and experience of using Raisers Edge, so will be able to add value in the role from day one. The role will also be essential to bridge a gap in supporting data processing and extraction work as processes are reviewed and long term structures are put in place.
Knowledge of the charity sector and how databases are used to support fundraising and manage donor relationships.
Proven experience of using Raisers Edge, to include creating and managing records, data cleansing, housekeeping, importing data using bolt-on software, creating and running queries and reports.
