A fantastic opportunity for a creative and proactive fundraiser with a track record of success in achieving and exceeding fundraising income targets to join a multiple award-winning fundraising team with a leading national charity and one of the biggest brands in the sector.
As part of a transformational growth strategy, the charity has invested heavily in a new fundraising team and activities, increasing income more than tenfold since 2010. The charity launched a new fundraising strategy in 2017, which sees an incredible investment in high value giving over the next 10 years. With the next five-year organisational strategy currently being developed and launching at the end of 2018, and with the launch of a modern, engaging new brand identity, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the charity. There are currently 50 people in the fundraising team.
To lead the development of a pipeline of long term, high value, multifaceted corporate partnerships that maximise income, value and influence for the charity, in line with the wider Corporate Partnership Strategy. Using your skills and experience you will identify, qualify and help cultivate compelling new corporate propositions (focussing but not limited to Cause Related Marketing) and secure new corporate partnerships for the team.
Identify, cultivate and deliver exciting new business opportunities, unique partnerships and on-brand sponsors and engage them in supporting the charity.
Build strong relationships with supporters and new contacts, developing known and unknown business opportunities.
Develop bespoke, exciting and engaging propositions for supporters and partners.
Accurately record and maintain prospects and partners information using the Raisers Edge database.
Development of and responsibility for new Corporate Fundraising products in partnerships with the Innovation Team.
Oversea the corporate work undertaken by the Special Events and Team Coordinator and managing any intern resource used by the team.
Experience of new business lead generation and using systems and tools to manage and record opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Experience of working within a new business function in fundraising. Experience from the commercial sector will be considered if candidates can demonstrate a knowledge of fundraising.
