We are looking for an exceptional communicator who can write and design clear, compelling and accurate fundraising proposals, reports and other donor documentation, which will share the success of this Christian charitys mission to their supporters.

The Role
The Development Team are looking for an exceptional communicator who can write and design clear, compelling and accurate fundraising proposals, reports and other donor documentation, which will share the success of our mission to our financial supporters, and therefore the value of their support. All documentation produced will ensure the wider team maintains a standard of excellent donor stewardship.

Developing and writing (using Adobe InDesign) clear, concise and compelling funding proposals, reports and other donor documentation that communicate the charitys mission and programmes, for final sign off by the Global Director of Development.
Working alongside the Development team to determine best practice approach for communicating with donors and ascertain the deadlines needed to ensure an excellent supporter experience.
Collaborating with and advising regional teams on developing proposals and reports. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the charitys global strategy, ministry programmes and cases for support.
Assembling all supporting documentation required to be submitted with proposals and reports.
Ensuring that all relevant donor documentation, proposal submission and reporting dates are accurately captured on Raisers Edge appropriately and in a timely manner.
Researching and providing accurate information on trust and foundation application processes and requirements, including deadlines, eligibility and other requirements.

The Candidate
A passion for and commitment to the Christian religion (this is an occupational requirement).
Excellent, concise written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, compelling funding proposals and reports. Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders and personalities.
Excellent numerical skills and a solid understanding of budgets insofar as they relate to funding proposals and reports.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and technologically savvy. The role holder will be expected to have or to have the capacity to quickly develop excellent Adobe InDesign and Raisers Edge skills.
The role holder must be available to work at a selection of key church events which could include Christmas services, Easter services and Annual Parish Church meetings when required.
