Be part of a movement for change and join a successful and award-winning Corporate Partnerships team which currently partners with some of the biggest UK brands and corporates. Youll build on the charitys success and your focus will be split across charity of the year (COTY) and commercial/brand partnerships. You will lead on opportunities to help the charity win more six and seven figure partnerships.
The new business strategy involves developing relationships and increasing income from companies through strategic partnerships, COTYs and commercial partnerships, developing bespoke new business proposals, and leading high-level new business pitches. Reporting to the Head of New Corporate Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing and stewarding relationships, thinking creatively and strategically to develop compelling proposals. Youll be delivering pitches and representing the charity at key meetings.
To implement the Corporate Partnerships teams new business strategy in order to help the charity reach its goal of raising 20m net by 2020.
Lead and develop opportunities from the COTY and commercial/strategic pipeline, including developing and stewarding relationships, submitting proposals, leading on pitches, while working with various teams across the charity.
To deliver against New Business income targets, working with the Head of New Business.
To work closely with the other New Partnerships Managers who is primarily focussed on COTY opportunities, to ensure that corporate partner opportunities are maximised.
Support on strategic partnerships, sponsorship and cause-related marketing (CRM) opportunities.
Line manage the New Partnerships Team assistant to ensure they manage the partnerships mailbox optimally and other tasks.
Proven track record of securing COTY corporate partnerships within the corporate sector to fund restricted core projects / unrestricted income (minimum value 50k partnership in one year).
Experience of leading on applications and pitches to prospective corporate partners across a range of sectors, particularly COTY and including commercial opportunities.
Demonstrable experience of stewarding and inspiring long-term relationships for mutual benefit.
Evidence of managing prospect/sales pipelines to achieve income targets.
Demonstrable experience of managing, forecasting and monitoring budgets to deliver against income and expenditure targets.
Experience of using a range of research techniques to keep abreast of funding opportunities and to conduct due diligence on companies.
