We are recruiting an Events Officer to assist in the development and implementation of an events programme to meet income targets for this leading UK disability charity.
The UKs largest voluntary sector provider of services for people with disabilities, they do everything humanly possible to empower people to live their lives as freely and as fully as they choose. Working in both the UK and internationally. Since 2008, the international development programmes have supported over 23,000 children in school and over 26,000 disabled adults into employment across Africa and Asia.
In this role you will
To contribute to the development marketing strategy and implement plans for specific events
Implement and deliver participant stewardship programmes to maximise supporter journeys.
Identify and research new event / promotional opportunities as well as maintaining existing relationships
Contribute to the development marketing strategy and implement plans for specific events
Assist with special events
Manage a program of marketing communications, writing and producing imaginative promotional materials to attract and recruit event participants.
Ensure the Events pages and social media are regularly refreshed with attractive and engaging copy/images and that search engine optimisation is maintained.
Write and produce newsletters, training programmes and fundraising support materials.
The Candidate will have
Demonstrable experience within events fundraising
Excellent project management skills
Strong organisational, multi-tasking and administrative skills
An ability to build strong relationships
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
