In this exciting role you will project manage and develop effective marketing programmes for increasing donor acquisition for a leading disability charity. This will include development of creative ideas, budgets and feeding into the fundraising strategy as well as managing external creative teams and suppliers.
The Charity are UKs largest voluntary sector provider of services for people with disabilities, they do everything humanly possible to empower people to live their lives as freely and as fully as they choose. Working in both the UK and internationally. Since 2008, the international development programmes have supported over 23,000 children in school and over 26,000 disabled adults into employment across Africa and Asia.
The successful candidate will work with the Senior Individual Giving Officer to plan, develop and implement new programmes to recruit individual supporters and develop income through direct marketing activity, considering audiences, products, propositions and channels and produce the budgets and written plans for the following year.
They will manage and deliver direct marketing activity on time and to budget. This includes devising project schedules, researching relevant media, data and financial information; sourcing individual stories and images, briefing internal and external teams and writing copy where necessary.
Also they will manage recruitment and development programmes as well as managing integrated direct marketing campaigns which include online and offline channels and work with the Senior Individual Giving Officer to develop effective supporter journeys and stewardship programmes. They will manage recruitment and development programmes within the set expenditure levels to meet the set income targets as well as managing integrated direct marketing campaigns which include online and offline channels.
The successful candidate will have previously worked on direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels (e.g. inserts, paid social, mailings), in not-profit-profit or commercial organisations, and have proven experience of delivering them on time and to budget.
They will know how to bring out the best in agencies and have worked with creative, media, digital or print agencies, and can expertly manage their different styles to deliver best-in-class fundraising campaigns.
They will be passionate about testing and learning and be confident using databases to pull results, review findings, and apply learnings to drive performance on future campaigns.
