We are looking for an Area Fundraising Development Manager to provide strategic leadership and direction for fundraising from the communities of East Suffolk & South Norfolk.
A wonderful supportive charity offering care and advice to terminally ill patients and their families.
To deputise for the Head of Fundraising where required.
To manage the income and expenditure budget for community fundraising and area development strategy across East Suffolk & South Norfolk
To lead, manage and develop the members of the community fundraising team to maximise their potential
To lead, implement, monitor and evaluate the community fundraising and area development strategy
Create a donor-centric culture within the team, implementing accurate and robust systems to ensure the relationship with our supporters is managed effectively
To lead on income generating and awareness campaigns, working with marketing and
communications team to maximise results
To lead, motivate and inspire the community fundraising staff and volunteers to deliver excellence for the organisation
To foster a culture of enablement and a strong team working ethic, alongside a commitment to individual responsibility
Create a positive working environment, be visible, energetic and participative, encouraging cross team working and initiative
Significant proven work experience at a senior level in fundraising, marketing, business development
Significant proven experience of managing a team of field based fundraising/sales staff
Proven experience of setting, monitoring and reporting on team and individual KPIs
Proven experience of managing and reporting a fundraising/sales pipeline
Proven experience of successfully leading, motivating and inspiring a fundraising/sales staff & volunteers to achieve/exceed targets
Previous experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment with constant changing priorities and no day being the same
Proven experience of successful project delivery in a sales, marketing, fundraising role meeting objectives and targets
Proven experience of managing budgets and working to achieve best outcome for least cost
Proven experience of generating income to meet income targets across a range of different income streams
