We are looking for an experienced and creative Deputy Shop Manager to assist in the smooth operation of two charity shops.
This amazing hospice is the only independent hospice in Central London and treats over 3,000 terminally ill patients and their families each year for free.
In this role you will assist the Area Shop Manager to maximise net profit in the charity shops through helping to develop and implement operational plans to drive sales, manage stock and control costs. You will also help to manage shop activities, achieve set targets and be able to cover the Area Manager when they are not present.
The successful candidate will have experience in a supervisory role inthe charity retail sector and of managing or working with volunteers, specifically managing and training. Retail experience, including cash handling, merchandising, display, working with customers and stock control will be necessary and well as excellent customer service.
