In this newly created role you will provide strategic direction, leadership and successful implementation of the in-memory, legacy and direct marketing programme.

Strategically plan, develop, implement and deliver the direct marketing programme
Work closely with external agencies and the database manager in order to develop and professionally manage the database (Donorflex)
Develop, maintain and produce statistical reports and financial analyses
Strategically plan, develop, implement and deliver in memoriam and tribute giving programme
Strategically plan, lead, implement and deliver the legacy marketing strategy
Develop and evaluate the individual giving and legacy programme
Line manage the team
Track record in managing diverse individual giving and/or direct marketing programmes
Track record in planning and developing income generation through direct marketing strategies.
Track record in setting and managing diverse budgets, including forecasting, monitoring and regular reporting of actuals against target.
Experience of working with and managing Data agencies, Response Handling agencies and Creative/Direct Marketing agencies.
Experience and understanding of running charity raffles through direct marketing.
Management of staff and/or volunteers.
Up-to-date knowledge of direct marketing approaches and techniques.
Detailed working knowledge and understanding of CRM databases (donorflex) and spreadsheets.
