In this exciting role you will support income generation from a variety of sources including charitable foundations, statutory and institutional funds, individual major donors, digital fundraising, and philanthropic partnerships with corporations for this incredible, forward thinking climate change charity.

The Charity
Is an independent, not-for-profit organisation which brings together a global coalition of the worlds most influential governments, business and civil society leaders to push for the policies, technologies and investment we need to create a smarter, better, more prosperous future for all.

The Role
Support the line manager to strategically grow the funding pipeline to achieve the financial and non-financial targets of the organisations global programs.
Identify, research and cultivate new sources of income, and maintain and deepen relationships with existing supporters to increase income.
Aim to secure gifts at a range of levels, but with a particular focus and attention to prospects with capacity to give at and above the 100k level.
Independently manage grant funding proposals for four-figure to low six-figure income generation opportunities, and support senior staff in the UK and global offices on larger six-figure and seven-figure multi-annual proposals.
Identify relevant new business opportunities.

The Candidate
Experience of generating income through proposal and bid writing within a high-value (major giving, trusts and foundations, corporate) fundraising environment.
Experience in deploying sophisticated relationship management and diplomatic skills to generate excellent income generation outcomes.
Good written and communication skills with the ability to draft compelling applications, reports and cultivation plans - fluent written and spoken English.
Ability to analyse, prioritize and strategize using information gathered from donors to give effective guidance to programme staff in the development of funding proposals.
Strong organizational skills with a methodical approach to working on a number of tasks simultaneously and working to deadlines.
Strong research skills, ability to gather and analyse material in a structured way and present findings in a concise manner.
