This exciting brand new role you will be responsible for the delivery and project management of a sporting charity of the year partnership and will develop, coordinate and drive the partnership opportunity achieving income and awareness ambitions for this leading cancer charity.

The Charity
This health charity is at an exciting point with a step up in fundraising activity across the board and a relatively new CEO. They fund innovative research to find the breakthroughs that will change how we understand, diagnose and treat patients.

The Role
Develop overall project plan and ensure delivery of the partnership to achieve financial and non-financial KPIs.
To develop and implement a new supporter engagement plan including integrating new platforms such as SMS/Chatbots.
Lead regular meetings and communications with the internal working group, ensuring individuals and teams are clear on responsibilities, actions and deadlines.
Work with and lead on the relationships with external stakeholders.
Involvement in challenge innovation products and partnerships.
To develop, implement and lead on a robust recruitment plan for charity place and ballot place eventers.
To co-ordinate and support the data management of challenge event fundraisers to ensure the correct data permissions are gathered and a clear transition plan post event is implemented.
To co-ordinate and lead on the management of related events including EXP.

The Candidate
Sound knowledge and understanding of sporting event fundraising and engagement strategies.
Good knowledge of Virgin Money and London Marathon events.
Experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Experience of coordinating departmental deadlines, with conflicting pressures, to achieve common goals.
Proven track record of delivering activity on time, in budget and meeting/exceeding financial and non-financial targets
Experience of managing event staff and volunteers, ensuring they are fully briefed and have a clear understanding of their role and impact
