You will play a central role in shaping digital campaigns which are really taking off, so youll be developing engaging communications about the organisations life-saving human rights work.
Manage and deliver Direct Marketing programmes including direct mail appeals, newsletters and email, maximizing retention and long-term support.
Lead on the cultivation and stewardship of individual supporters on their journey with the charity.
Deliver outstanding supporter care, including preparing and sending personalised thank you letters and emails to supporters who have donated and coordinating the annual thanking of supporters across the organisation by providing staff with relevant resources and information.
Writing and coordinating direct marketing campaigns and digital appeals to optimise income generation and develop an ongoing commitment from supporters.
Creating interesting content for our supporter newsletter which will involve showcasing our service users lived experiences.
Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, including digital, print and fulfilment to achieve appeal objectives.
Experience of creating and delivering successful programmes and campaigns to grow income through integrated direct marketing campaigns, utilising traditional and digital techniques.
Super communication skills you need to speak confidently and with a friendly manner on the telephone to our supporters and let your passion for our cause shine through in your writing.
Experience of creating/editing creative copy with the vision to understand what motivates our supporters to give.
Experience of using social media marketing/advertising and digital fundraising/communications for supporter acquisition to build an online community and ultimately income generation.
Ability to project manage programmes and campaigns and feed findings into future planning.
Knowledge of fundraising principles and practice; including individual giving methods, gift aid and data protection.
