We are looking for an experienced events fundraiser to support the delivery of high profile functions and participation events, building new relationships with high net worth individuals and establishing new fundraising groups with volunteer supporters for this innovative medical charity.

The Charity
A UK-wide charity on a mission to save and change childrens lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.

The Role
Support the Fundraising Manager in the development and management of fundraising in the region to achieve agreed financial targets.
Research, engage and manage profitable fundraising opportunities and areas of potential support, particularly third party adoptions and partnerships, in line with the fundraising strategy.
Be responsible for the development and delivery of participation and social events as required.
Support, motivate and develop new and existing committees & fundraising groups; volunteers, individual supporters and corporate partners.
Research and engage third party partnerships in the region, then to manage these relationships to meet financial targets and increase regional income.
Lead the planning, logistics and delivery of participation and social events to meet financial targets this may also include securing sponsorship, identifying and maximising potential of individual and corporate participants or guests.
Recruit volunteers to assist with events, developing strong relationships and identifying and cultivating supporters to develop new fundraising opportunities and partnerships.

The Candidate
A strong relationship builder and networker; comfortable both in corporate environments and community settings
An appreciation of different methods of fundraising in the charity sector and working with volunteers
Ability to recruit, develop, inspire and manage individuals and teams of volunteers
Experience of securing & managing partnerships with SMEs & Groups and Associations, meeting and exceeding income targets.(E) Ideally experience in a fundraising role (D)
