We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Fundraising and Communications to drive income from corporates, trusts and individuals.

With a real drive to develop fundraising income the small team have developed an exciting strategy going forward with backing from trustees and the CEO. Looking for passionate, committed people with plenty of drive. They offer flexi working and may consider 4 days a week.
To lead and manage a growing team, going from two this year to six by 2022
Work with consultants and agencies and ensure they are motivated and deliver agreed targets
Identify major funders and funding streams to develop fundraising for restricted and unrestricted income from new sources
Lead on development of and writing of corporate propositions, pitches and corporate offers, also working with partnerships established via an agency
To work with a consultant in trust and foundations income generation, line managing a Senior fundraiser in this area too
To oversee the production of direct marketing fundraising that includes newsletter production, appeals and campaigns, ensuring that the needs of the donors you support are recognised in these publications
To address external audiences and present the work of the organisation, including travelling and meeting with potential donors, supporters and funders
To lead the active engagement, communication and influence local, regional and national media, stakeholders and influencers
To improve the digital presence, including use of social media
To take a lead on issues management and crisis communications.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a small team with big plans, hungry, enthusiastic and ready to lead a growing team
3-5+ years fundraising experience; including substantial corporate fundraising experience and a good awareness of all other fundraising streams
Experience of managing at least one Fundraiser to deliver targets
Track record of developing major relationships including securing and managing charity of the year partnerships
Experience setting and managing budgets
Experience of working with databases, preferably Raiser's Edge.
