We are recruiting for temporary Co-ordinator with strong PA skills for a high profile member body . Immediate Start !

The Role
To provide PA support and cover as required for the executive support managers and PA to the chief officers including managing diaries, attending meetings and taking minutes, action notes.
To assist the head of Council secretariat with arrangements for Council meetings as instructed. This will include, but not limited to, maintaining the Council e-group, website and post notices / documents, formatting papers, mail outs, attending Council meetings and operating the Council Chamber equipment i.e. voting, speaker, lighting, presentations, etc. Also monitoring attendance at meetings and table papers.
To assist with arrangements for the induction of new Council members as instructed.
To assist with the committee meeting arrangements and attend the meeting to support the team as instructed.
To manage the administrative arrangements for the conferring of the Associations awards and honours and attend the ceremony at the ARM.
To provide some administrative support to committee secretary and senior governance and committee manager on division work including division grants, updates to databases and listservers, and general queries during very busy periods.


The Candidate
General PA skills
Ability to manage and co-ordinate busy diaries.
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a high level of service is provided to both and committee members and colleagues/managers.
Good computer literacy and strong administrative skills through qualification and experience in a similar administrative role, including archiving, database use, etc.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience of responding to routine and non-routine work from colleagues and from members (e.g. events, expenses, request for information, etc).
Co-ordination with committee staff, directors, regional councils, etc. for the submission of reports and information.
