Do you have a track record of success in applying for and managing grants of at least 50K? In this role you will be able to manage a caseload of Trust supporters in developing long term relationships and maximising net income for a much loved national disability charity.

The Role
To develop, prepare and submit funding applications to trusts as part of the overall strategy of the Trusts and Philanthropy Team and to contribute to the achievement of the Teams target to raise both core (unrestricted) and project (restricted) funding.
To maintain up-to-date information on the status of funding applications in the database Raisers Edge.
To provide feedback where needed/appropriate, to funders and contribute to the monitoring of projects to ensure that meets its obligations to them and maximises the return on successful applications.
To contribute to the library of fundraising proposals (both UK and international) maintained for the benefit of the Funding Department as a whole.
To carry out expenditure within agreed budgetary limits.
To support both Trusts Manager in the coordination of internal approval process.

The Candidate
To have a track record of success in applying for and managing grants of at least 50K and above.
To have significant experience of putting together successful funding applications (50K and above for multiyear projects).
To have knowledge of programmatic work.
To have budgetary knowledge and attention to details in creating and reviewing budgets.
To have good fund and prospect research skills.
To have experience of negotiating with colleagues and external contacts.
