We have a fantastic opportunity for a creative Direct Marketing individual to join a national social welfare charity as they embark on a new strategy to expand their services. 6 months Fixed Term Contract.
A long-established, well respected national social welfare charity. Their aim is to ensure that their members have access to the finest quality of service to help them discover life beyond their disability.
To be responsible for the delivery of agreed direct marketing MV and SV cash appeals using a range of off-line and online channels in consultation with the Senior Manager Direct Marketing and/or the Head of Income Generation.
To be responsible for significant voluntary income generation within the Income Generation team.
To plan campaigns, developing targeting and testing strategies to improve performance of the programme.
To assist with gathering resources, preparing key briefs and reviewing concepts for direct marketing appeals and raffles to existing donors, delegating to co-ordinator where necessary.
To manage the circulation and review of copy, artwork and other direct marketing communications amongst SLT stakeholders and Brand ensuring that appropriate feedback is accurately collated and acted upon.
To build excellent working relationships with external suppliers including agencies, printers and fulfilment agencies and ensure that the charity receives a quality service that represents good value for money.
To work with insights team and creative agency to produce post campaign analysis presentations to inform future learnings.
To work closely with customer service colleagues, to ensure excellent relationships are developed with existing supporters, providing high quality personalised responses to supporters.
To monitor campaign budgets and facilitate supplier invoice checking and payment.
Proven track record in managing multiple direct marketing campaigns simultaneously from concept to delivery
Experience of managing a number of third party suppliers/agencies
Proven experience of managing data and using data intelligently to increase response rates and average gift
Experience of monitoring income and expenditure budgets, and cost negotiation.
