We are looking for an exceptional Trusts Fundraiser who can write and design clear, compelling and accurate fundraising proposals, reports and other donor documentation for a Christian charity.
The charity believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view, wherever they are in the world.
This role will be focussed on writing and reporting on proposals rather than a donor facing position.
You will provide reports to donors across a range of income channels and geographical regions in a timely way, ensuring deadlines are met and all correspondence is tracked in the CRM system.
You will write and design clear, compelling and accurate fundraising proposals, reports and other donor documentation.Working alongside the Development team to determine best practice approach for communicating with donors and ascertain the deadlines needed to ensure an excellent supporter experience.
Liaising with finance, other internal teams and regional teams to gather information required for funding proposals and reports.
Collaborating with and advising regional teams on developing proposals and reports. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the charity's global strategy, ministry programmes and cases for support.
Assembling all supporting documentation required to be submitted with proposals and reports.
Researching and providing accurate information on trust and foundation application processes and requirements, including deadlines, eligibility and other requirements.
A passion for and commitment to the Christian religion (this is an occupational requirement).
Excellent, concise written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, compelling funding proposals and reports.
Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
Strong, collaborative team player.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research and applying analytical skills to the task, identifying critical and relevant information for the purposes of proposal and report writing.
Excellent numerical skills and a solid understanding of budgets insofar as they relate to funding proposals and reports.
The role holder must be available to work at a selection of key church events which could include Christmas services, Easter services and Annual Parish Church meetings when required.
