We are looking for a dynamic Interim Digital Communications Officer to support delivery of the digital marketing and communications activity for this international humanitarian charity on an 3 month contract.
Manage the organisations email marketing programme, liaising with colleagues from the Fundraising & Communications and Operations departments.
Provide technical support to colleagues across the organisation to use digital platforms and tools, especially the email platform Mailchimp.
Support the delivery of digital activity across the website and social media.
Support the Digital Communications Manager with the creation and approval of website content, including blogs, calls to action and hub pages.
Establish good relationships with colleagues to enable them to deliver digital activity to best practice standards. This includes feeding into planning and supporting them to review and optimise results.
Provide support on social media when the Communications and Social Media Assistant is on leave.
Support with digital activation of fundraising appeals during humanitarian emergency appeals.
Collaborate with other teams to design and develop online supporter journeys that maximise engagement and value.
Skilled in writing, editing, and proofreading.
Strong task management and organisation skills, scrupulous attention to detail, ability to prioritise, and good time management.
Confident at building relationships with stakeholders and the ability to liaise and work collaboratively with different departments.
Demonstrable experience in managing different priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Experienced in the use of e-communications platforms such as Mailchimp, and social media platforms (such as Falcon).
Experience providing data insights and preparing reports to drive decisions.
