As an experienced Fundraiser you will be working as part of the Events and Community Fundraising Team and deliver outstanding marketing, stewardship and event organisation to inspire and motivate event fundraisers for an inspiring medical charity.

The Charity
An inspiring medical charity who help support people who have incurable illnesss and their families.

The Role
Working with the Communications and Marketing Team, lead on the timely, inspiring and informative marketing for any fundraising event allocated as your responsibility by the Events and Community Fundraising Manager.
Lead on the events logistics for any fundraising event allocated as your responsibility by the Events and Community Fundraising Manager. This includes recruiting sufficient volunteers, liaising with suppliers and ensuring they have the relevant credentials and planning data/cash handling in line with charity procedures.
Lead on the management and development of key relationships with community groups allocated as your responsibility by the Events and Community Fundraising Manager.
Provide proactive and timely stewardship for those who have registered as fundraisers helping support and inspire the development of fundraising ideas, leading to the generation of increased income for the work of the hospice.
Working with the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, generate analysis and produce reports on events and community fundraising activities.

The Candidate
Experience in working within Fundraising across Community and/or Events.
Relationship management of key stakeholders. Possibly including a broad range of supporters and volunteers, community groups, religious organisations, schools, major donors and senior volunteers.
Experience of working in a fundraising challenge events environment; developing, managing and delivering a portfolio of events.
Strong written skills with the ability to write compelling fundraising copy.
