As a Fundraising Assistant, youll play an important role by helping this inspiring international development charitys philanthropy and grants teams to raise vital funds.
This amazing international charity listen to local people and empower them to make sustainable changes themselves so that every child can be happy, healthy, safe and in school.
Monitor and research credible external information (eg statistics, new articles, etc.) to help us write fundraising proposals and reports.
Provide support to high value bids and grant management, including helping with due diligence, risk assessments, administration and writing.
Research philanthropic initiatives and prospective donors that might be able to support the charity.
Ensure we have Gift Aid declarations for eligible donations.
Provide logistical support (travel arrangements and paperwork) for Philanthropy donor trips.
You are highly confident in using a computer and able to learn how to use new software, programmes and digital tools quickly.
You are able to research/find accurate and reliable information quickly and could provide useful (written or verbal) summaries of what you have found.
You are keen to learn and are a fast learner.
You have a positive attitude and would find this job enjoyable and rewarding.
