Manage a caseload including pecuniary, residuary and revisionary legacies.
Ensure that the charity receives its full entitlement in accordance with the law and the provisions of the will/codcil(s), any deed of variation or settlement agreement.
Scrutinise estate accounts and ensure that an estate has been administered correctly to include the allocation of capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
Record and update all relevant information regarding a legacy on the legacy administration database, First class 4.
Ensure lagacies are allocated in restricted and unrestricted funds, in accordance with the will.
Proven experience in the relevant fields of law or as charity legacy administrator.
Management of information systems and database development.
Highly numerate and good literacy skills.
Able to prioritise planning and organise own workload.
