As a successful Community Fundraiser you will provide outstanding levels of support, stewardship, advice and motivation for community fundraising activities for a small inspiring medical charity.

The Charity

A small inspiring medical charity, with a friendly supportive team. They can offer office based or home working as long as commutable to Milton Keynes. A car is required for this job.

The Role
Manage the relationships with the established volunteer support groups, giving them advice and guidance on community fundraising activities and events including the preparation of information that will inspire them to raise awareness and increase fundraising.
To initiate and develop long term partnerships with local charitable groups e.g., Rotary, Lions, Soroptomists etc., with the aim of securing financial and in kind support.
Maximise the sale of merchandise products through community events, ensuring that merchandise and promotional material is distributed to volunteers and accounted for.
To report back on regular basis to the Head of Fundraising as to activity, progress and achievement against identified financial and soft targets.
Monitor income and implement remedial and contingency planning as appropriate, based on the fundraising pipeline.
Identify new opportunities for community fundraising activity, assess their potential and make recommendations regarding financial viability.

The Candidate
A friendly, pro active individual with two years demonstrable experience of success in a fundraising role.
Experience of working effectively in collaboration with a wide range of external fundraisers, supporters, customers and/or partners.
A good understanding of the sector, overall trends.
A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to plan, coordinate and deliver events.
