You will be working on the commercial strategy, working with Fundraising and Management teams to increase market share and profitability. Overall responsibility for the Charitys Commercial offering, on and offline. With full P&L responsibility, budgeting and responsibility for reaching financial targets and achieving a profitable ROI.
Definition and delivery of the Commercial strategy, 5-year plan and budgets to explore, consider, prioritise and investigate potential areas of revenue generation, considering also service delivery and donor recruitment.
To devise and deliver integrated Marketing strategies and plans to deliver these initiatives including a broad range of on and offline channels (e.g. email, SMS, PPC, SEO, Display, Affiliates, Direct Mail, Inserts, Off the page).
Lead Customer and market research and analysis to maintain an understanding of the most profitable existing and potential customer segments for future product and/or service selection and targeting.
Full review of existing product range and ongoing product performance monitoring and market research to ensure that the charity offers a compelling, relevant and profitable product range.
Commercial experience across multiple channels.
Experience of managing Ecommerce sites and mail order with full ROI, budget and profit and loss responsibility with a sales targeted environment.
Experience of launching or managing a commercial initiative and growing income.
Experience of cross channel retail marketing strategy, creation and implementation.
Experience of product-buying and supplier selection.
Extremely analytical and data driven, excellent budgeting, research and data skills.
Experience working in a branded retail environment.
Degree or equivalent in Marketing / Digital / Business / Retail / Economics or equivalent experience.
