We are working with this much loved health charity to recruit an IG Manager, you will be responsible for the individual giving programme, legacy and in memoriam giving, as well as overseeing recording of income to the database
Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and implement a strategy for increasing income across all individual giving streams.
Manage the individual giving programme in order to maximise returns from existing donor base and new donors.
Achieve the annual targets agreed for all areas of individual giving.
Prepare detailed income and expenditure reports for each area of activity, and interpret data in order to measure effectiveness and return on investment.
Assist the Head of Fundraising with preparing the annual budget and report monthly on performance against targets.
Work with the colleagues who support communications and marketing activities to produce strong and compelling fundraising materials for a wide range of media.
Implement the legacy fundraising programme, promoting legacies to internal and external audiences.
Set, monitor and manage income and expenditure budgets in conjunction with the Head of Fundraising.
Management of the Database Administrator.
Responsibility for day to day management of Raisers Edge
A sound knowledge and understanding of individual giving, legacy and in memory fundraising.
Knowledge of budgets and experience of reporting financial performance against targets.
In depth knowledge of Raisers Edge or similar database, including ability to interrogate data and run complex queries and reports.
Experience of creating both written and electronic appeal materials.
An understanding of the role of social media in communicating with supporters.
Excellent knowledge of the Data Protection Act, GAYE, Gift Aid and Fundraising Regulator statutory requirements
