We are recruiting for a Fundraising assistant for an amazing hospice , this is a broad role key to the day to day running of the hospices fundraising . You will be supporting 3 key areas , Major gifts , Corporate engagement and philanthropy. This role will be office based.
To work with members of the team to support the overall fundraising target and activities
Corporate Engagement (fundraising) (35%)
Assist with identifying and researching prospects for pipeline, Charity of the Year Programmes,corporate donations and cause related marketing partnerships
Assist with account management function of existing partners
Assist in tracking their charitable support and reporting on the impact to our work
To work closely with the Philanthropy Manager to research new and existing major donor prospects and create bespoke communications
Work closely with the Manager to research social influencers and support approaches and joint activities and projects
To ensure the database (ThankQ) is used effectively and efficiently to manage donor records
Trusts & Grants (35%)
To assist the Manager in developing exciting and persuasive proposals to encourage new donor relationships and broaden support from existing donors
Identify and research new Trust and Foundation funding streams for up to 5k for unrestricted and restricted funds
Has an understanding of fundraising administration
Experience is liaising with a range of different stakeholders
Experience of developing and writing successful applications/approaches to funders
Experience of providing stewardship to event participants/fundraiser to maximise fundraising goals
Experience in MS office
