Do you have a background in Direct Marketing and Appeals ? We are working with this with a much-loved charity to recruit a Fundraising officer to deliver planned fundraising campaigns and activities with a focus on individual giving, legacy & in memory, community & events. A varied role which combines campaign management, marketing, communications and donor engagement to help them meet income targets.

This role is a FTC for 6 months , ideally looking for someone full time in the office but can offer 1 day from home.


The Role
To deliver planned fundraising campaigns across digital and traditional channels, to agreed timeline and budget.
Produce Campaign Brief for each campaign to provide an overview of campaign objectives, timelines and actions and hold campaign planning session with key stakeholders
Write and manage the Campaign Schedule, ensuring that all aspects of the campaign are delivered on time
Write Creative Brief (for internal or third party designers) and manage the creative development process, co-ordinating feedback and moving through to final sign off
Assist with the overall management of the donor communications schedule, supporting the wider team
Liaise with Communications Manager to ensure weekly organic social media posts to promote fundraising campaigns are delivered
Liaise with fundraising team to manage paid for social media posts promoting fundraising campaigns (in line with communications schedule)
Assist with the delivery of e-communications including monthly e-newsletter and e-appeals to donors (via MailChimp)
Provide excellent stewardship and supporter care to donors and fundraisers.
Help to develop and manage supporter journeys ensuring donors are effectively thanked, feel valued and engaged with the hospice
Develop engagement opportunities for supporters to learn more about the work of the charity and services/products available to them

The Candidate
Experience of working in a fundraising or marketing environment
Experience of managing fundraising or marketing campaign
Experience of donor care / customer service
Strong IT Skills
Experience of working with a database or CRM system
Good Knowledge of Fundraising Regulations & Guidelines
Experience of using MailChimp or similar E-Communication software
Experience of digital marketing & web management i.e. Social Media & wordpress
