Working for this much charity this is a part time role, 17.5 hours a week, the role will be split between providing prospect research to the team and applying for lower level trusts.
The Role
Support the Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Fundraising teams to maximise fundraising income and reach agreed financial targets.
Conduct prospect research, utilising grant finding databases, current portfolio and other sources, to identify potential trusts, foundations, and corporate funding opportunities.
Lead on writing and submitting applications for trusts and corporate foundations at 4-figure level, with support from the Trusts and Foundations Manager and Head of Corporate Partnerships.
Collate case studies, statistics, and other information about our services to support specific fundraising asks.
The Candidate
Experience of conducting prospect research, preferably in a fundraising environment.
Knowledge of prospect research tools and resources.
Experience of using Raisers Edge or a similar database, including ability to interrogate data and run complex queries and reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a fluent writing style and the ability to communicate persuasively.
