We're recruiting an Individual Giving Executive to join a leading arts institution which is among Londons most popular art venues showing modern and contemporary art. In this role, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of the Individual Giving Scheme fundraising strategy and donor fulfilment programme.

Contribute to the delivery of the Individual Giving Scheme fundraising strategy and donor fulfilment programme to maximise the fundraising income of the Serpentine Galleries. This will be sought from the widest possible range of possible individual donors to provide general funds for the organisation, as directed by the Senior Individual Giving Manager, the Director of Development, Directors and Trustees.
Manage all donor communications, including ensuring that marketing materials and proposal packs are persuasive and attractive, and are kept up to date and accurate.
Obtain regular feedback from individual supporters through focus groups.
Conduct prospect research and approaches to individual donors, ensuring that they are personal, tailored and tracked.
Lead in the organisation and delivery of benefits donor events, ensuring that all events relating to donor benefit fulfilment and cultivation of individual supporters are well organised and run smoothly; guest lists are accurate and appropriate; invitations and background notes are issued well in advance of events and in-line with house-style; rsvps and attendance are logged in the database and donors contacted for feedback.
Support the Senior Individual Giving Manager to arrange donor VIP access for all international art fairs worldwide.
Attend all Events including individual supporters events individual donors exclusive events when required.
At least 2 years experience of income generation, in or within charitable giving from individuals, private client services or sales within a contemporary art gallery
Administrative experience of individual giving schemes and donor benefit delivery in the arts and donation processing and tax effective giving in the UK and internationally.
Knowledge and understanding of the arts markets and the key players and collectors within this sector both in the UK and internationally.
Active interest in, and knowledge of, the visual arts, architecture and education.
Excellent organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
