An international environmental and wildlife conservation charity is looking to bring on board a general fundraiser in a small team to focus on Trust and Foundations with Corporates and Major Donors
The charity is seeking an experienced fundraiser to work as part of a small team at its London headquarters and maximise income from existing streams whilst developing new opportunities. The role would suit a creative self-starter with a broad range of experience gained in a small to medium sized charity environment.
Working with a small team, including external suppliers, generate income from a portfolio of fundraising activities and campaigns to deliver or exceed annual income targets, including from individual giving, grants, major donors and corporate partnerships
Participate in cultivation and fundraising events
Provide audience analysis and insight to improve recruitment of new audiences, retention of existing supporters and improvement to supporter life time value.
Understand and propose developments for product offerings for specific audience groups
Review and develop through analysis, challenge, improvement and innovation of fundraising activities to ensure they meet the needs of supporters, fundraisers and donors
Manage donors and activities using Raisers Edge
Deputise for the CEO in fundraising and management when necessary.
Substantial experience in a senior fundraising role
Experience of developing ideas and being creative
Experience in managing a high-profile charity campaign or event
Ability to set and monitor income and expenditure budgets
Have good written and visual communication skills using MS Office, MailChimp, Social Media and online fundraising platforms
Experience of using Raisers Edge
